Love of Natural Materials

The owners of this home in Aarhus have chosen a hand-crafted kitchen from Garde Hvalsøe. Everywhere, the love of natural materials is evident, not least in the striking kitchen island in Dinesen Douglas fir. Complemented by tall black cabinets and a raw steel worktop, the Douglas planks, with their beautiful grain, are allowed to play the lead role, with hand-crafted details, such as finger-jointed drawers, as distinctive accents.
