Copenhagen Home
This elegant home north of Copenhagen is the result of a playful experiment carried out by architect Lene Tranberg and the client, who had defined a number of rules the experiment had to comply with. For example, it could not look like a modern, pretentious villa; also, traditional painted walls were out of the question. Garde Hvalsøe’s contribution includes a bespoke kitchen and a range of other interior solutions for this architect-designed home, where raw steel and plywood come together in a unique expression. See also the custom-designed Danish bathroom furniture – and read about Lene Tranberg’s reflections on her own hand-crafted kitchen.
