Bespoke Oak Interiors Shaped by Architecture

Working closely with Edmonds + Lee Architects, Garde Hvalsøe Atelier developed bespoke cabinetry and architectural joinery for the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms.

Oak forms a continuous material presence throughout the residence. Its natural grain and tactile character introduce warmth, while carefully considered proportions and transitions allow the cabinetry to sit naturally within the architecture.

The interiors bring together bespoke elements and Solid Classic, reflecting an approach in which individual pieces are developed in response to their architectural setting.

Rather than standing apart from the surrounding spaces, the cabinetry becomes part of the architecture itself. Each element is considered in relation to the room, its function and the way it is experienced.

Beyond the interiors, the Napa Valley landscape remains a constant presence. Changing light and expansive views connect the rhythms of everyday life with the natural surroundings.

Our Atelier explores the possibilities of bespoke solutions, tailored to each space.
