In the neighbourhood of Østerbro, Copenhagen, restaurateur Mikkel Egelund and his wife Jill Marie Zimsen transformed their townhouse kitchen into a space that balances professional efficiency with warmth and a sense of community. Inspired by classic country kitchens, they chose light ash wood and a stainless-steel worktop, centering the design around Garde Hvalsøe’s Minimal model.
