A collaboration that began in 2011 with Coffee Collective’s coffee bar at Torvehallerne continues at Trianglen in Copenhagen. Here, we have created a bespoke Hoelgaard kitchen in oak, designed for the everyday life of the coffee bar and the many cups brewed each day – with a focus on function, craftsmanship and materials that gain character over time.

For the new space, Garde Hvalsøe has created a bespoke Hoelgaard kitchen in oak, designed around the pace and demands of a busy coffee bar. Open and inviting, the kitchen becomes a natural part of the space, with solid wood bringing warmth to the many encounters, conversations and cups of coffee that are part of everyday life at the coffee bar.
The same cabinetmaking principles that define our kitchens for private homes form the foundation of the kitchen at Trianglen. Materials, construction and detailing have all been considered with longevity in mind, allowing the kitchen to withstand the demands of daily use while gaining character over time.
More than a decade after our first project together, Trianglen marks a new chapter in our collaboration with Coffee Collective – grounded in a shared appreciation for craftsmanship, quality and things made to remain.
